Abstract
This article is about the role of leader and power from psychoanalytic theory perspectives. The interrelation between leader, leadership, power, authority and how it can be manifested in modern organizations are considered in details. The conclusions that were made in this article formed the basis for the study of a specific organization, and can also be used in the future for organizational cases' investigations. The article also reveals the internal connections and anxieties that arise in a leader at the moment of gaining power and in the process of retaining it, when he acts as its bearer.
