Abstract

The article presents a case study of a private Russian company, described and explored through the lense of social defence theory and open systems theory. The study explores how organizational secret impacted on systems anxieties, social defence mechanisms, specific corporate culture and the way the company coped with the consequences of retraumatization in the last years of its operations.
