Abstract

The author applies a quantum approach to the study of the psychoanalytic process to examine the cases of Little Hans and the Wolf Man. We can observe that multiple different psychic scenes unfold simultaneously at various levels of identification. In both cases, the patients, despite their differing pathologies, exhibit an ambivalent identity, simultaneously classical-linear and quantum- wave-like. Identifications do not develop one after another according to linear time but coexist in a nonlinear, wave-like temporality.
