Abstract

The article is a brief psychobiographical outline, devoted to the early childhood period of German- American writer and poet Charles Bukowski, based on the writer's semi-autobiographical novel "Ham on Rye" and a number of published biographies of the subject of the study, performed in an interdisciplinary psychoanalytic fashion.
