Abstract

Is modern society ready for the challenges that reality presents to us in the age of rapidly changing technologies, socialization, and the tendency to search for oneself? Is it ready to cope with the loss of what was close and understandable, to accept the loss of the reality in which the individual was. What is behind this anxiety, what manifestations of perversions may be hidden behind a seemingly harmless addiction to a commodity fetish. Psychoanalysts of various directions throughout the history of perversions have contributed to the study of this issue, but they could not imagine that society would face realities when an individual could experience unbearable anxiety from losing possession of a brand, like the one he may have experienced in childhood.
