Abstract

The article shows that the areas of borderline states and psychosomatic disorganization, developed in parallel by Andre Green and Pierre Marty, differ from each other from the point of view of the clinic and psychoanalytic theory, but, on the other hand, consist in kinship relations, which both authors emphasized with reference to the psychoanalytic model of Maurice Bouvet, especially on the neurosis of depersonalization. It is shown that A. Green interpreted the concepts of "operatural thinking", "essential depression", "mental and somatic disorganization" as forms of radical negativity. The scheme of the work of the negative can be contrasted with the scheme of mentalization adopted in the concept of Pierre Marti. The connection between the work of the deobjectifying function of the death drive, failure in mentalization and dementalization is traced. It is shown, following P. Marty and A. Green, that psychoanalysis of a psychosomatic patient is a maternal concern for the patient's psyche by linking representations as long as there are no tertiary processes.
