Abstract

The article analyzes the features of the primal scene and symbolization processes in transgender persons. The psychoanalytic view on the transsexuality is revealed in the context of the general history of the theoretical definition of sexuality based on psychoanalytic, philosophical, and social thought. The article reproduces the psychoanalytic interpretation of the psychic mechanics of transsexualism.
