Abstract

In this article, the author examines the concept of symbolization from different angles, which is the result of a process that assumes the ability to create representations of an absent object, when the subject is able to understand that a symbol is not the object that it symbolizes. In the case of psychosis, there is a failure in the work of symbolization, therefore, when working with them, it is necessary to materialize the dimension of tertiality in order to create favorable conditions for the process of interiorization. That is why, for psychotic patients, the most favorable frame is a frame of psychoanalytic psychodrama.
