Abstract

For the last 30 years, women have been setting up their own businesses in our country. However, businesswomen are still forced to break down established gender stereotypes and face challenges, both social and psychological. Psychological challenges are not obvious, but the more important and more difficult it is to cope with them. In this article, we will consider from the point of view of psychoanalysis what role the father figure plays in shaping a woman's leadership potential and her business track. In this article, we will focus on how a woman's appearance in business is influenced by positive and negative paternal complexes, what impulses in development they give and what unconscious restrictions they impose. The topic is relevant in the light of several factors. Firstly, for a long time in psychoanalysis, the figure of the father was in the shadow. Secondly, according to various sources, from 31% to 38% of families in Russia are single-parent: millions of children are forced to witness parental conflicts, maintain or lose contact with their father after a divorce, and establish relationships with their stepfather. Thirdly, the figure of the father has a decisive influence on the professional self-realization of the child.
